Dr. Brian L. Carkeet
Dr. Brian Carkeet was raised near the small rural town of Sonora, California. He graduated from Sonora Union High School then attended the University of California Santa Cruz where he received a B.A. Degree in Biology. He continued his dental education at the University of California San Francisco where as a Regents Scholar he received a D.D.S and B.S Degree in Oral Biology.

As an oral health care provider, he is passionate about staying up to date with current scientific trends and treatment modalities. He has completed post-doctoral fellowship training in esthetic dentistry at UCLA and is a graduate of the internationally renowned Kois Dental Research Institute in Seattle where he regularly attends training in a collaborative, professional environment that fosters excellence in dental health care. Dr. Carkeet has been practicing dentistry in Bishop and the greater Eastern Sierra Nevada region since 1999. He resides in Swall Meadows with his wife May who he met as a volunteer dentist in Thailand. The Carkeets have 2 daughters Avie and Natcha and as a family they enjoy spending time together with their little dog Sisu taking advantage of all the natural beauty and recreational opportunities the area provides.
